Accounting Supervisor
If you're the type of person who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, then we need to talk! I have an immediate need for an Accounting Supervisor.
Essential Duties:
o Managing transactional day-to-day components within established accounting practices
o Oversee accounting staff in their day to day duties.
o Reconcile billing accounts related to credit card processing and banking transactions
o Responsible for reconciling and reporting all sub-ledger and general ledger activity
o Coordinating the monthly close process within specified timeframes
o Manage and coordinate collections activities
o Maintain accurate written process documentation and ensure consistency of execution and reporting
o Provide oversight and supervision of AP & AR Specialist functions
o Aids Controller in preparing financial reports and/or documentation to address audit requirements
o Work with Human Resources as Primary Payroll Administrator for staff of 120 employees
Abilities:
o Ability to use the complete suite of MS Office utilities
o Familiarity with Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
o Ability to coach members within accounting staff on principals, practices, process, and methodology specific to generally accepted accounting principles
o Ability to prioritize and meet the expectations/requirements of external and internal customers
o Customer centric regarding deliverables and expectations
o Must have excellent attention to detail
o Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, read instructions, pass along information and listens effectively to others
o Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime as warranted
Additional Requirements:
o Five years or more of general accounting practice in a lead position
o Possess analytical skills to generate accounting solutions
o College Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
