Job Description:
As a Medical Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical office, ensuring efficient workflow, excellent patient care, and compliance with regulations.
You will manage administrative staff, coordinate schedules, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize the delivery of healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Office Staff:
Manage and supervise administrative staff, including receptionists, medical billers, and administrative assistants.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
Patient Care Coordination:
Oversee patient scheduling, registration, and check-in processes.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with patients regarding appointments, procedures, and follow-up care.
Financial Management:
Coordinate medical billing and coding activities, including insurance claims processing and payment collections.
Monitor accounts receivable, resolve billing disputes, and ensure compliance with billing regulations.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
Manage inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment.
Coordinate procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed about healthcare regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Implement policies and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality, data security, and safety standards.
Quality Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in office processes and patient care delivery.
Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
Staff Training and Development:
Develop training programs and provide ongoing education to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a medical office manager or similar role in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including scheduling, billing, and coding.
Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
