This position will require treatment coordinating on a regular basis.

Experience in the following areas Management in a dental practice (minimum 5 years) combined with experience as a treatment coordinator, RDA, or RDH if applicable Supervising direct reports including teambuilding Training and evaluating staff's performance Measuring and optimizing customer service including handling patient complaints Summary of Essential Knowledge and Job Functions Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required Strong communication skills and professional appearance Provide excellent organizational and leadership skills Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office applications Competent using dental software, including imaging, file sharing, etc.
Able to evaluate and prioritize multiple tasks for self and others Responsible for supporting the financial goals you establish for the practice Propose and carry out processes that drive production and profitability Work with management to develop and/or understand the practice's patient consultation and examination processes Able to prepare patient appointments (routing slip, collecting dental benefit information and confirming appointments, etc.
) Able to communicate with patients including reviewing health history, explaining examination results, reviewing patient ledger, financial agreements, etc.
Able to conduct treatment consultations with all patients when new treatment plans are presented.
Address patient concerns and answer any questions Able to understand the practice's policy on working with dental benefit plans and be prepared to educate patients about their dental benefits.
Build trust and understand the patient's objectives.
Monitor and track all referral sources of new patients from and to the clinic Monitor and track all unaccepted treatment plans and follow up with patients in a timely manner Able to adapt to new requirements as needed, new safety protocols, new regulations, etc.
