Candidate must have at least 2-years' experience as a water treatment plant or distribution system operator that includes experience working with liquid chlorine injection and SCADA controlled systems.
Job responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Conduct operational tasks at water treatment plants and distribution systems.
This includes operating and monitoring the water treatment and distribution system process equipment, such as:
pumps, motors, chlorine system, analyzers, generators etc.
to ensure that the water treatment and distribution objectives are met.
Required qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED, at least 2-years' experience working as a water treatment operator and distribution operator, California driver's license with clean record, ability to operate a variety of water treatment and distribution equipment, interpret field and analytical test results, effectively communicate and demonstrate mathematical competence, mechanical ability, problem solving and good communication skills.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
California Water Treatment T-2 Or Higher & California Distribution D-2 Or Higher Competitive pay offered with paid meals.
Position includes a Company vehicle with paid drive time.
Pay is $28.
00 per hour with roughly 5 hours per week of overtime.
Annual compensation will be roughly $69,160 after overtime.
