X-Ray Technician/Medical Asssitant We're now hiring a part -time X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Performs radiographic procedures as ordered by a physician Position patient correctly for x-ray procedures Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort Develop, process, and select optimum x-ray images Review and evaluate x-rays to determine the quality and if they need to be redone Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current and exposure time.
Assisting with back-office duties
Qualifications:
Current CA state limited x-ray tech license in Chest, Torso-Skeletal, Extremities, Skull (preferred) and Digital Radiography Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program Operate within x-ray standards of care Medical Assistant experience required Strong communication skills Familiarity with HIPAA policies Must be willing to work weekends and/or morning and evening shifts We appreciate your interest in this position.
