We are currently seeking a Guest Services Attendant to join our team.
This role will be responsible for delivering clean, safe golf carts to our guests and to effectively communicate safety issues and reasonable pace of play to our guests and to help ensure compliance with golf course rules and regulations.
Previous hospitality experience and/or golf knowledge is preferred for this role.
DUTIES:
To maintain, in appropriate areas, an ample and orderly supply of golf carts.
To approach all guests, at the end of their round, to clean their clubs and to assist them in returning their golf carts.
To follow all specified procedures to satisfactorily perform routine daily tasks, including collecting and cleaning range balls; storing, cleaning, and charging golf carts; removing trash from staging areas; and to open and close the bag room and golf cart storage area.
To maintain an accurate record on the starter sheet of the number of players in a group, actual tee-off time, turn times, and round times.
To ensure the orderly flow of play off the first tee and maintain a reasonable pace of play, in accordance with reserved tee times, rotating groups as necessary to compensate for late starts.
To assist groups that are behind the pace of play by getting out of the golf cart and by raking bunkers, marking shots, replacing the flag and sanding divots and staying with the group until they are back into posiiton.
Qualifications:
Must have a thorough knowledge of turf conditions, golf rules and regulations, and playing ability.
Previous hotel and/or golf experience preferred.
