Summary:
The Membership Services Supervisor position will primarily focus on not only monitoring, supervising and assisting the Membership Services Manager with training of the Customer Service staff, but also the interaction with customers and Membership Services members to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
Assist the Membership Services manager with execution of plans to direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of wine, internet orders and club shipments to the customer.
This position will also be responsible for follow-up on the billing activities for Temecula Valley Winery Management, and its clients.
Proficient in shipping and compliance standards.
Gather Membership Services membership statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
Train and monitor staff to ensure quality and productivity.
Additional duties can include, but not limited to data entry, phone sales, and customer service with an eye towards customer retention.

Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.

Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills.
Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance orders, using Wine Direct software platform.
Refer unresolved customer grievances to Membership Services Manager for further investigation.
Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, or arrange for billing.
Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.
Monitor customer preferences to inform the Membership Services Manager's focus of sales efforts.
Solicit sales of new or additional services or products.
Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes, such as extreme weather conditions that could cause spoilage or damage.
Compare disputed merchandise with original requisitions and information from invoices and prepare invoices for returned goods.
Offer recommendations for improvements in products, packaging, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to the Membership Services Manager in order to prevent future problems.
Brainstorm ideas for marketing activities and promotions for membership benefits to include multimedia and social events.
Assist guests and members in making reservations for Restaurant, Private Tastings and Event Site Tours Expert in all departments to be available to assist in any guest or member needs Conduct training for all Membership Services/Customer Service staff Monitor staff to ensure proper phone etiquette Monitor staff to ensure quality and productivity expectations are being met Specialist in shipping and compliance Advanced reporting skills Communicate with Management on urgent needs Always keeping staff informed on updates or changes so the team is well informed at all times Detailed Work Activity Getting Information -- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
