Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor, maintaining the warm and inviting atmosphere of our practice Answer phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently Verify insurance information and process payments with attention to detail Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, contact lens ordering, and dispensing.
Minor Pre-testing patients before they see the doctor (be comfortable learning technology).
Requirements:
Must be available for a Full-Time position Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime required for patient care that runs over; No Weekends! Seeking long-term employment High school diploma or equivalent Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in computer skills, and comfortable with electronic health record systems Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to our culture Methodical and precise approach to following the steps of our systems and procedures Self-motivated to actively contribute to the team's success while adhering to established procedures Previous experience in a healthcare office a plus
